CTS Assignment 2
Something Represent Myself
As our lecturers said, the group which won the election for assignment 1 has the power to design the assignment 2 for the whole class. We ( my group ) as the winner, we came out with an easy assignment for the class, so that we can score together. This is an individual assignment. Basically, we just need to create something to represents ourselves. All medium are allowed except digital medium.
I decided to use my hobby to represent myself but not create something to express my feeling. Why? Because I'm the Dark Side！( a negative thinker ) I do not want to spread the negative energy to anyone.
Idea 1
As an Sci-fi movie lover, I decided to create something from the sci-fi movie which can represent quantity because I have a lot of hobby. The first idea which came to my mind was Thanos's Infinity Glove from Avengers: Infinity Wars, because I just watched it few weeks ago. There are six infinity stones on the glove so I can change all six infinity stones to six "hobby stones".
Idea 2
Then, I try to get idea from my favourite movie, STAR WARS. What represent quantity on STAR WARS is the stormtrooper and General Grievous. Stormtrooper is to hard to mix with my hobby so I gave up on this idea. General Grievous has four arms, it can play four lightsabers in the same time. I plan to mix the lighsabers with my hobby.
Idea 3
After that, the idea of octopus came in my mind, and I think of Doctor Octopus from Spiderman. Doctor Octopus has four extra robot arms, it is more like claw.
I think I can make a sculpture of Doctor Octopus and create something to put on his claws to show my hobby.
I sketched out my idea during the CTS tutorial class.
After a consideration, I decide to DIY a " Hobby Glove" to represent my hobby.

4. Hot glue gun

6. Pencil+Marker
