Favourite Photos
For our assignment 2, we have to post 5 favorite photos which taken by our own and 5 favorite photos taken by other professional photographer. Then, we have to explain why we like the photos.

The Sun and the sky contrast with the plants. The plants are in the situation of underexposed to create a sense of coldness while the sun and the sky bring out the feeling of warmth. The refraction of the sunlight and the camera lens appear as you can see there is some bright circle at the center of the photo.

A symmetrical photo. The main subject in this photo is at the center point ( Buddha sculpture ) and the light behind the Buddha sculpture make the photo focus at the center. The reflection on the floor create a sense of parallel universe ( space ) which make the photo look interesting. This photo is very hard to shot because of the darkness of the room, as I'm still a new beginner for DSRL.

The blue sky on the top, green plants at the bottom make the photo looks harmony. It brings out a sense of peaceful and also comfortable. The position of the sun was very good at the time. It was just in front ( slightly left ) of the sculpture, which create nice shadow of the sculpture.

This photo is taken in a vintage style wood building and the roof is made by "Atap" leaves. The room was really dark which cause me have to use a very high ISO. The photo looks calm and quiet as there is nothing moving. There is an old woman with white hair sitting there and a girl looking through the window, look like they are waiting for someone or something.

The main subject in this photo is the bicycle. which being focus. This photo was taken at the corridor of a vintage style wood building. I like the perspective of this photo. It was taken in one perspective. The sunlight from the left side creates the shadow of the fence and the bicycle which create the contrast between bicycle, fence and the ground. Because of the strong wind and cause the plastic wind wheel spinning very fast, so I have to use a fast shutter to take this photo.

I like how she matches the model's dress with the building. The colour of the dress is almost the same as the building even the details. It make them look like they are one. The hue of the photo is very nice and it brought out the sense of coldness.

A great capture of the action while the elder fisherman casting the net to the lake. The reflection on the surface of the lake makes the photo look more interesting. The birds on the "ship" match with the lake and mountain, make the photo more into natural. The colour of the photo creates a sense of history which is very suitable for this photo because the elderly fisherman was fishing in a traditional way and he was wearing traditional Chinese shirt.

A very nice and detail photo which grabs my attention so much. The leaves with pink make the photo romantic. The reflection on the calm pond brings out a different feeling. The hue of the leaves and the branches are nice. And the branches with dark colour contrast with the leaves which make the photo look much more nicer. The sculpture at the middle with a small size creates a sense of distance between it to the camera.

I like the photo with the warm colours of autumn foliage. The mist make the photo look soft and it brings out a comfortable feeling. It also shows the beauty of nature, without buildings, vehicle or any high tech stuff.

A swimming pool photo from the top view. From the top view, it doesn't just look a normal pool anymore. It look like Pinball. The colour of this photo bring out the sense of coldness and the contrast brought out by the shadow make the photo look much more 3D and look nice.

Landscape Photographer
I want to be a Landscape Photographer because I love and enjoy looking at landscape photos. Landscape photos bring me more into nature and make me feel comfortable. Most of the photos taken by me are landscape. Usually,I take photos when I went to travel with my family but I feel very excited when I saw a nice landscape and I will take out my smart phone immediately, even when I'm in the car. Sometimes, I feel very badly when I miss out a nice view. Another reason that I like to take landscape photo is, I can record the place that I went before.
